I bought two of these as a special offer from M-F and they are really useful. I use one at home in my bedroom and one with a USB powerpack in my van to keep the air circulating. They do not appear to draw much power as the pack has run for several hours and barely used a quarter if that.
Highly recommended as are Mobile Fun who demonstrated how good their customer service is after they were badly let down by Royal Mail.

I obviously didn't read the item description properly as I thought this was a rechargeable item.
But it's fine although the lead is very short as I use them not connected to my computer USB (they are all full!) but into a mains adaptor nearby.

This is a good fan for one person with good access to a USB power socket. I marked it down to 4 stars for the following reasons. It could do with a longer lead (currently 1.5 meters approx.), it could be quieter (although the low speed is perfectly acceptable}, and the touch control on the top surface is invisible if the unit is tilted back to blow upward at a reasonable angle.
The good points are it has quite a powerful output even at the lower setting and is neat and will be easy to place on a desk even if it is cluttered like mine. Create a tactile indication of the control position and I would probably have given this 5 stars

Bought this fan to replace a similar fan that I bought here a few years ago which kept drifting all over the place and sometimes off the edge of the table(if you didn't keep your eye on it)
But happily that's not the case with this fan and runs a much smoother sound when on both speeds.

There really is no point in the 1st speed. You can’t notice anything unless it on the 2nd speed and right next to you. If you are anything further than 10 inches away you can barely feel the breeze. For the speed of the fan I find it quite noisy. To anyone considering this, I wouldn’t waste your time. Unfortunately I bought 2.

Runs very quietly & more powerful than I was expecting for such a small form factor. It's a stylish addition to my desktop & very easy to move around. It's also very stable, especially with the silicone grips on the stand. I bought two on offer, my wife has the other & is similarly delighted.

If you're after something that will keep you a bit cooler when it gets hot, but isn't noisy and doesn't blow your papers all over the place, this is the one for you. If it's really sticky, it's not going to make a huge difference; you'd need something bigger for that.

With its small footprint it is surprising how effectively this USB desktop fan keeps one cool. It is not noisy and having two speeds it is easily regulated.
