This is a good first time case for the Sony Xperia 1. I particularly like the colour option as I find the Sony genuine case for the Xperia 1 rather lacking in the colour range.
The case provides reasonable protection to the phone and I particularly like the rubberised feel on the back of the case which makes the phone easier to grip and the little stand tucked into the rear of the case is a bonus and is handy when viewig videos.
As regards the open aspect of the front of the case it means that the screen tends to gather dust etc when the phone is tucked into a pocket etc. The dust tends to collect where the screens meets the case, I use a small photographic lens brush for clearing this dust.
Overall I rate this case fairly highly although as Christmas is nearing I could persuade relatives to club together for a genuine Sony Xperia 1 case!

Good grip & protection

The olixar armourdillo is a good quality product. Protects your device all around & provides a good grip. It looks bulky in pictures but is not in real life. Buttons all work well. Video stand is a bonus
