The 'sticky' foot will not hold the weight of my Samsung S8 at even a slight angle. This very much limits the places I can install it on the dashboard. To be clear, after 90 seconds the thing falls off when positioned and locked, when not in a horizontal mounting position.

So far this kit has worked very well and it fits my phone very well, I just kinda wish the cable was abit longer. The dual charging slot came in handy charging my Tom Tom and my phone at the same time so my personal view would be it is a good value for money set
