Nice bright light would be a brilliant back up in a power cut. Albeit they are bit plasticky and probably won’t last too long but nevertheless good value for money. The only downside is the remote that only works when you are extremely close to the lamp, making it more of a gimmick than a benefit.

I was initially impressed with the brightness of the lights, but found the battery life is poor. after a couple of days the were really dim. This is with careful use with th 30 min button on the remote.

Previous LED/Battery lights I have purchased (not from MF) have been to say the least - Dim. These are very bright. A useful addition. Don't know how long the batteries will last in my application but they haven't 'faded' in the few days I have used them. Just one down side and that is that rechargeable batteries cant be used for some reason.
