Outstanding protection for the price
Providing you purchase the correct size this case is extremely confidence inspiring. I found it straightforward to attach and fit with no concerns about overheating or unnecessary bulk Still fits in my rucksack with ease.
There is nothing fancy about this case but it works well.
I have noticed a bit of fluid retained in the base. This must have gotten in through the vents when I was careless putting the machine down. Case popped off and all cleaned up quickly.

Good product, poor value for money.
If I had seen the product in the flesh, I wouldn't have bothered. It is well finished and would offer some protection but the price is extortionate. The fit is good on the actual computer but it is way overpriced. I would pay £20-£25. Unfortunately I struggled to find another manufacturer of a similar product.

Great Protection from what I can see...
If I'm completely honest I've not actually dropped my laptop in this case (yet) so I can't be 100% sure if the laptop would survive. I am very clumsy and wanted a case to protect my MacBook from potentially me!! This case was the best I could find. Once fitted to the laptop you can see straight away how well protected all the corners are including the screen. This is a rugged case so expect a little bulk added to the laptop but it's not much at all. When the lid is closed you can only plug the power cord into the laptop. All the other ports are closed up. Not a problem for me but some may not approve. The case is a bit expensive but it's a small price to pay if it's going to protect your laptop.

Great first impressions
First impressions of this case are very good, it feels sturdy (no 'drop test' yet). The plastic on the Black (aka 'Ash') case that I ordered is much lighter in real life, although not as see-through as the Clear version. Opening the case takes some getting used to, because of the two large rubber bumpers which wrap around the corners, and snap the two halves shut. It adds a little weight but not too noticeable. The service from MobileFun was excellent, with quick next day delivery.
