I'm happy with the glass screen protector but it's a shame it doesn't cover the whole screen on the phone. Why is that?

Most glass screen protectors leave a very small gap around the edge as many new phones feature a slightly curved edge on the display. This can cause problems with dust and debris getting under the screen protector if the glass covered the screen 100%. This also reduces the halo effect.

As others have said, this doesn't fit the whole screen. More importantly it won't actually stick around the edges. Try as I might - no fingers have touched the contact surface, everything super clean, but it doesn't stick. Rather odd IMO - fairly fundamental for such a product, especially a supposedly high quality one. Never had trouble with glass screens before (on other phones).

I will disappointed that the screen protected doesn't actually cover the entire screen. There's a 0.5pm gap around the edge which just collects dirt. I've had it for about 5 weeks and it's already cracked at the top. However the clarity and responsiveness is great.
Well worth the extra cost for a first class product.

Having just bought a new phone I was reluctant to try several attempts at fixing the usual plastic film protectors. This tempered glass product is well worth the extra cost. Very easy to apply and more or less does it itself, once applied to a clean screen, without the need to push out air bubbles. Very sturdy rigid product which doesn't require constant cleaning as finger marks are virtually non existent compared to the original glass screen. Very good fit on my Galaxy A5. Highly recommended.
